Public Opinions after Bombardment of Yeonpyeong Island

The deadly bomb attack between North Korean military and South Korean forces on Yeonpyeong Island of South Korea on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 has been raising waves of angry public opinions among officials and residents in South Korea, especially in Seoul. After waves of artillery shell, South Korea\’s Yeonpyeong Island is now engaged in chaos and spiritual crisis despite great recovery efforts by thousands of Yeonpyeong Island\’s residents, soldiers and civil servants. The bombardment of Yeonpyeong Island caused two South Korean civilians to be killed and sixteen to be injured. At this time, the funeral of the two killed South Korean civilians has been formally held and live broadcast on Korean national television. At the same time, more than 1,000 South Korean veterans have rushed into streets in order to take demonstrations asking the South Korea government\’s actions to respond the Yeonpyeong Island \’s bomb attack. The protests are getting more and more serious ever when demonstrators have had some conflicts with policemen.
