Polish President Andrzej Duda is commencing a two-day visit to Portugal, beginning on Thursday, during which he plans to engage in discussions regarding security, migration, and Russia's

conflict in Ukraine. These talks will occur at a summit involving the Arraiolos Group of nations, which comprises EU member states with parliamentary, rather than presidential, forms of government.

The group's name originates from the Portuguese town where its inaugural meeting took place in 2003. Last year, Arraiolos Group leaders convened for a summit in Valletta, Malta, according to Polish state news agency PAP. Photo by Jakub Szymczuk, Wikimedia commons.
