As of December, the unemployment rate in Poland inched up to 5.1%, a slight increase from the 5% reported in November, as indicated by the country's statistics office. This figure aligns with

the government's earlier estimate.

At the conclusion of December, approximately 788,200 individuals were unemployed across the nation, compared to 773,400 in the preceding month, as reported by the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) office.

Earlier this month, the state-run statistics agency revealed that employment in Polish companies experienced a marginal 0.1% decrease in December on a year-on-year basis.

In contrast, the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, utilizing a different methodology, reported a more modest unemployment rate of 2.8% in Poland for November.
