The jubilee festivities are set to commence on September 12th, with the King inaugurating the National Assembly. On the subsequent day, he will be bestowed an official gift from the Riksdag

(parliament) and the Swedish government, followed by hosting a reception at the Royal Palace, also recognized as Stockholm Palace.

Continuing the celebratory momentum, a series of jubilee receptions will transpire on September 14th at the Royal Palace, accompanied by a performance by the Royal Opera at Drottningholm Palace's Theatre, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the King's ascension to the throne. Concluding the day, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia will host an intimate dinner at Drottningholm Palace.

The pinnacle of the festivities unfolds on September 15th, when the nation will honor His Majesty's Golden Jubilee.

The day will commence with a Te Deum ceremony, with the Royal Family and guests congregating at the Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace. Later, the King will oversee the Changing of the Guard in the Outer Courtyard, and the entire Royal Family will grace the balcony with their presence.

Amidst this grandeur, there will be a heartfelt tribute to the King, featuring singers and the Royal Academy of Music, taking place in the Outer Courtyard as the royals observe from the new balcony.

An anniversary banquet will conclude the day's proceedings, set in the splendid Rikssalen of Stockholm Palace.

The final day of celebrations, September 16th, will involve a symbolic horse-drawn carriage ride through Stockholm by the King and Queen. Additionally, the Royal Family will be honored guests at Norrbro during the city's celebratory jubilee event.
